BRICK & NEXT GEN SERIES TRYOUT CAMP

The Brick & Cwench Next Gen Series Tryout Camp is designed for 7, 8, and 9-year-olds interested in joining the Junior Bruins’ Brick team (2017s for 2027) or Cwench Next Gen Series teams (2018s & 2019s for 2027). Held over two days in August, this camp provides an opportunity for the Junior Bruins staff to work with and evaluate potential players for our spring/summer teams. It serves as the first step in forming our teams for the upcoming season.

Our Brick team process begins years in advance, focusing on evaluating and training players. We have refined our approach to our AAA tournament teams, including adjustments to the team composition, player selection process, and overall strategy, to ensure we are consistently well-prepared for the Brick tournament each year. The Tryout Camp is essential in forming our Brick and Next Gen Series teams, allowing our coaches and staff to assess the players over four to five on-ice sessions.

During the spring/summer season, coaches may not have the opportunity to see each player in action at every tournament. This tryout camp ensures that our key staff can observe each player four to five times, providing valuable insights for team selection.

The 2024 and 2025 camps did sell out so we encourage families to register sooner than later to confirm a spot.
