Roses Team

The Junior Bruins are one of only 15 programs throughout North America that can bring teams to the best female amateur tournament-the War for the Roses. The B’s are the only Boston/New England based team with a Roses charter. The Junior Bruins are founding members of the Rose Series and were awarded the Roses charter in 2018. The Roses takes place at the West Edmonton Mall each July for twelve-year old’s. It is a once in a lifetime experience.

The Roses is the deepest and most competitive, female youth tournament in the world. Only those players who live in our geographical protected area of Massachusetts, Rhode Island, New Hampshire and Maine are eligible to play for our team. We can also take three “import players”. Import players are those that live outside of our protected area.

In addition to the Junior Bruins the other programs with Roses charters include: Alberta Warriors, BC Jr. Lady Canucks, CJR, Illinois Selects, Manitoba Jr. Ice, Michigan Southeast Elite, MN Machine, Eastern Canada Rattlesnakes, Team MN Girls, Team PA Roses, Team Saskatchewan, Pro Hockey Ontario, Western Selects and Great Lakes Wisconsin.
