2019 Junior Bruins NCDC Main Camp Schedule

2018 Junior Bruins NCDC Main Camp information is posted here. Our main camp will be attended by all players committed to the Bruins program for the 2018-19 season and is open to all players interested in trying out for our NCDC, Premier, Elite, 18U or 16U full season teams. Participation in our main camp is also a great way for perspective players to gain exposure and recognition to NCAA DI and DIII colleges as well as our NCDC coaching staff to be considered for the future.

Summer Training Program

The Boston Junior Bruins have designed the new definitive training regimen in player development. The Junior Bruins was founded in 1991 as an independent junior team and has now risen to one of the top Junior Hockey Programs in the Northeast playing in the United States Premier Hockey League.

Brick/Brick series Tryout Camp

Our Tryout Camp for our 2011 Brick team and 2012 Brick Series teams will begin the process for our 2021 teams. We have made some changes to our AAA tournament teams in regards to the makeup, player selection process and more so that we are better prepared for the Brick tournament and Brick series events each year.

Defenseman/Combat Camp

The key to being an elite defenseman is knowing how to handle a 1-1 and our Defenseman/Combat Camp will focus on the fundamentals of 1-1 play. While it is called a Defenseman Camp, it is not limited to defenseman only.

Power Skating Camp

Too often, players like to work solely on stick skills including shooting and passing skills. While these are worthwhile and important, the skating is neglected. Nothing will make you struggle more as player than poor skating. The skills taught in this camp are the same taught to Division I and professional hockey players taught in a way that can relate to the younger player.

Spring Skills & Training

Our spring skills sessions will focus on improving the fundamental components of what makes up a great hockey player. Our qualified coaches (including current NCAA & Pro players) will spend time in small groups settings with each player to work on skating stride, edges, puck handling, shooting, passing proficiency and overall hockey competency.

Private Camps

This camp is designed specifically on the needs of the players at the camp and will work on areas of their game that need work. Power skating, shooting, stick handling, offensive concepts, defensive work, off-ice training & college visits are just some of what is offered. Instructors range from Junior Bruins-coaches to college & pro-players to college & NHL-coaches.
