MARLBORO, MA- USPHL Premier forward Brett Strawn has committed to Endicott College for the Fall of 2015. Strawn has provided some scoring punch for the B’s this year, unrelenting effort and has helped the black and gold to a 23-5-0-3 mark in league play through the Christmas break.
For Strawn, Endicott was the perfect fit, “their commitment to winning was one of the most attractive parts of the school and program. Right from the start I loved the direction coach Tolan was taking the program. I feel this is the best fit from both an academic, social and hockey standpoint for me and I am excited to be a Gull.” The Gulls will enter the 2015-16 season as the newest member of NCAA Division III hockey and as a young program figure to rely heavily on newcomers like Brett right off the bat.
For Strawn he’s confident that his last two years with the Junior Bruins have given him the preparation necessary to hit the ground running next season, “My experience with the Junior Bruins has been incredible. Being pushed day in and day out has brought my game to the next level and has truly prepared me to be a contributor right away”. Working his way through the lineup and consistently finding ways to make plays and positively impact a game as well as his teammates is nothing new for Brett.
“Brett is a player you root for and someone you enjoy coaching” Peter Masters commented. “He does whatever he is asked, never stops working and would run through a wall if I asked. I wish more players had Brett’s attitude and commitment to improving and doing whatever it takes for the team to be successful.”
Congratulations to Brett Strawn and his family on his commitment to Endicott College.
