Slotnick commits to UNE

B’s Elite forward choses the Nor’ Easters

Bruins USPHL Elite forward Andrew Slotnick has committed to the University of New England for this fall. In 39 league games Slotnick leads the B’s with a 18-29-47 line.

Andrew has been a consistent player for the Junior Bruins all year. The Elite team clinched the USPHL regular season title last week, in addition to repeating as Northwood Prep Winter Tournament Champions in January and narrowly missing a shot at playing for the Fall Beantown title earlier in the season, falling in the semi’s to the eventual tournament champs.

“Andrew has been a productive player for us and we’ve come to count on him in big situations. We can’t be happier with the level of interest he drew from many colleges that he was considering and in the end UNE was the perfect fit. They’re getting a very good player and person”, adds Associate Head Coach Dan Gordon.

Over these last few weeks Slotnick will be looked upon to help guide the B’s to a USPHL Elite playoff title. Congratulations to Andrew and his family on his commitment to UNE.
