Bruins USPHL Elite forward Justin Holliday has committed to Suffolk University for this fall. In 31 league games this season Justin had a 14-16-30 line.
This was Holliday’s first season with the Bruins organization. The Ohio native had spent the last two seasons in the Midwest (primarily in the North American League). Holliday and his coaches were faced with the challenge of knowing that Justin would require labrum surgery on both hips in early January thus cutting his season short. Despite playing all 31 games injured Justin was able to be a productive leader on and off the ice.
For Justin his experience with the Junior Bruins couldn’t have been better, “The coaching staff is excellent and they have the proper connections to help players gain exposure and advance to college hockey which was my primary focus for this season. I’m very excited to be attending Suffolk. After meeting with their coaches and visiting the campus I knew it was the perfect school for me”.
We congratulate Justin on his commitment to college and wish him the very best in his future hockey endeavors. Go Bruins.
